Earlier in the year the Portuguese Federation of Gymnastics sent you preliminary information about the very first LOURIGYM 2021 – International Summer Festival, which will take place in Lourinhã-Portugal from 8th to 11th of July 2021.

LOURIGYM 2021 precedes World Gym for Life Challenge (WGfLC) which will take place in Lisbon from 13th to 17th of July 2021.

Your LOURIGYM 2021 participation is an excellent opportunity to rehearse your WGfLC routines!!

LOURIGYM 2021 is a “Gymnastics for all” event where everyone can participate, no restrictions on gymnastic disciplines, technical levels, nationalities or ages.

Situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and just 45 minutes north of Lisbon, Lourinhã is a peaceful, safe and quiet town. Known for the numerous paleontological findings of Dinosaurs’ remains, you will be able to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches while interacting with many Dinosaurs scattered around the town.

Days will be filled with many workshops and activities: SURFING, DANCING, MUSIC as well as visits to the Dino Park outdoor museum.

All exhibition places will be equipped with floor exercise mats (14 m x 14 m), as well as by any other gymnastics equipment requested by the delegations.

All international delegations will have guaranteed transportation:

·         Arrivals: Lisbon Airport to Lourinhã

·         During the event:between accommodation and exhibition locations

·         Departure: Lourinhã to Lisbon Airport or to WGfLC in Lisbon

RULES Below you can find information about the participation packs available for LOURIGYM 2021:

– Packages 1-2-3 consist of 5 (five) nights from July 7th 2021 (arrivals) until July 12th 2021 (departures). There are no meals on July 7th  and only breakfast on July 12th.

         – All participants must have sports insurance.

As the future of the whole pandemic situation is uncertain, the LOURIGYM ASSOCIATION and the LOURINHÃ CITY COUNCIL, with the knowledge of the Gymnastiques Federation of Portugal, decided to CANCEL the LOURIGYM 2021 - INTERNATIONAL SUMMER FESTIVAL, wich would take place between the 8th and July 11th.
